EasyChess is an independent software project. This policy describes the prelaunch website at easychess.lol. For privacy questions, contact contacteasychess@gmail.com.

Browsing the site

This website has no accounts, signup forms, analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. Its code does not store information in your browser. Fonts and artwork are served with the website, without third-party embeds.

When the site is hosted, the hosting provider may process basic connection information, such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information, and request times, to deliver and secure the site. Hosting-related handling depends on the provider used.

When you email us

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your inquiry and handle related support or privacy requests. Email is handled through Gmail and is also subject to Google’s privacy practices. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information.

We keep correspondence as needed to address your inquiry and maintain relevant records. You can email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information and explain any information that must be retained.

The upcoming app

The current macOS implementation processes board screenshots and chess positions locally; those are not sent to account or billing services. Account sign-in and subscription management use online services, including Supabase and Lemon Squeezy. Local analysis does not mean that every app function works offline.

The app is not publicly available through this website. Platform-specific app privacy information will be provided before launch. This website does not collect app credentials or payment information.
